Lianne La Havas- Royal Albert Hall Review

Lianne la Havas_Royal Albert hALL_

Last night, South London singer/ songwriter, Lianne La Havas graced the stage of the world famous Royal Albert Hall and I had the pleasure of being there to witness it. Put simply, she was exquisite! Such elegance, grace and an extremely down to earth vibe- the kind of vibe that makes you want to be her friend.

The stunning vocalist performed tracks from her debut 2012 album, Is Your Love Big Enough and her more recent, Blood album- released last year. Kicking off the show with No Room For Doubt, her performance included tracks such as, Lost & Found, Unstoppable, Tokyo, Ghost, Wonderful, Age and my personal favourite, Green and Gold. With her enchanting and faultless vocals, Lianne and her guitar effortlessly captivated all 5000 people in attendance.

During the evening, she was joined on stage by the choir from Norbury Manor Business and Enterprise College- Lianne’s former college.  She treated the audience to a special and unexpected cover of Aretha Franklin's, Say A Little Prayer, which was great fun. Closing the show with Forget, she had the audience on their feet singing and jigging along to the chorus. There was a beautiful energy as everyone left the theatre and it was apparent from the smiles on people’s faces that we had all just encountered a truly beautiful and memorable moment with the songstress.

Thank you for a wonderful evening Lianne!
